Bucharest flights available again from TAP Portugal
The Portuguese flag carrier TAP introduces an additional, although not entirely new route to its summer 2017 flight map at Lisbon Airport.
Starting from 7th of July, the carrier resumes flights between Lisbon and Bucharest, in Romania. This route, first launched in 2012, was discontinued in early 2015.
The flights linking Lisbon to Henri Coanda / Otopeni Airport (the primary airport of the Romanian capital) will be available 6 times a week, according to the following schedule:

- Wednesday, departure 07:00, arrival 09:35
- Thursday, departure 07:00, arrival 09:35
- Friday, departure 06:00, arrival 08:35
- Saturday, departure 07:00, arrival 09:35
- Sunday, departure 07:00, arrival 09:35
LIS – OTP:
- Monday, departure 00:15, arrival 06:15
- Wednesday, departure 00:15, arrival 06:15
- Thursday, departure 00:15, arrival 06:15
- Friday, departure 10:45, arrival 16:45
- Saturday, departure 00:15, arrival 06:15
- Sunday, departure 00:15, arrival 06:15
The route will be operated by Airbus A319 and A320 aircrafts. The airline’s monthly capacity on this route is of around 8 thousands passengers.
TAP faces direct competition on Bucharest – Lisbon route from the low cost carriers Blue Air and Wizzair.
