Lisbon Airport Family Room and other services for babies and children

Catering for the needs of families travelling with small children, Lisbon Airport offers a range of services which help to make the trip as stress-free as possible, for both young and adult passengers.

Lisbon Airport Family Room
Families traveling through Lisbon Airport or adults accompanying a young child have at their disposal a dedicated area, situated in the public area of the Terminal 1 departures hall, on level 5, close to check-in desks, cafés and retailers.

The Family Room of Lisbon Airport offers entertainment solutions for children of all ages and comfortable lounge area for the adults. It is also equipped with a microwave and bottle heaters, allowing to prepare food for the youngest ones and vending machines selling snacks and baby products.

Play areas at the airport
The Terminal 1 of Lisbon Airport has two play areas where the young passengers can spend their energy and get distracted for a while from the sometimes tiresome trip. One of the “airplays”, as they are called, is located on the corridor leading to boarding gates 7 to 13 on level 5, in the Schengen area and the other near gate 44, level 5, in the non-Schengen area.

Lisbon Airport nursing rooms
Facilities for babies equipped with changing table and sink are found in both public and restricted (after the security scan) areas of both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 of Lisbon Airport. Baby changing stations are also found and properly signposted in ladies toilets. Nursing rooms offering comfortable private baby feeding areas are available in the restricted area near the food court of the departures hall, level 5 of Terminal 1 for the Schengen flights and near boarding gates 41 and 44, on level 5, for non-Schengen flights.

Borrow a pushchair at Lisbon Airport
To facilitate moving around the terminals for families traveling with infants and toddlers, Lisbon Airport offers a pushchair service. Pushchairs for children up to 3 year old or 15 kg are available immediately after the security/x-ray control and near boarding gates 15 and 16.

All Lisbon Airport services for babies/children are free and available 24 hours a day, except when indicated otherwise.
