New TAP routes in Central and South America – fly from Lisbon to Panama and Bogotá with TAP Portugal
Portuguese flag carrier TAP has added new destinations to its route network in the Americas.
From July 2014, TAP flights will be available from Lisbon Airport to Bogotá, the capital of Columbia and to Panama City, the capital of Panama Republic.
TAP Lisbon – Bogotá – Panama route schedules
The new service will operate four times a week, according to the following schedule (always referring to the local time):
- Monday: 12.00 take off from Lisbon Airport (LIS) to Bogotá Airport (BOG); 15.55 arrival at Bogotá Airport; 16.55 take off from Bogota Airport to Panama Airport (PTY); 18.25 arrival at Panama Airport; 19.40 take off from Panama Airport to Lisbon Airport; 11.00 (next day) arrival at Lisbon Airport.
- Tuesday: 12.00 take off from Lisbon Airport (LIS) to Bogotá Airport (BOG); 15.55 arrival at Bogotá Airport; 16.55 take off from Bogota Airport to Panama Airport (PTY); 18.25 arrival at Panama Airport; 19.40 take off from Panama Airport to Lisbon Airport; 11.00 (next day) arrival at Lisbon Airport.
- Thursday: 12.00 take off from Lisbon Airport (LIS) to Bogotá Airport (BOG); 15.55 arrival at Bogotá Airport; 16.55 take off from Bogota Airport to Panama Airport (PTY); 18.25 arrival at Panama Airport; 19.40 take off from Panama Airport to Lisbon Airport; 11.00 (next day) arrival at Lisbon Airport.
- Saturday: 12.00 take off from Lisbon Airport (LIS) to Bogotá Airport (BOG); 15.55 arrival at Bogotá Airport; 16.55 take off from Bogota Airport to Panama Airport (PTY); 18.25 arrival at Panama Airport; 19.40 take off from Panama Airport to Lisbon Airport; 11.00 (next day) arrival at Lisbon Airport.
New TAP routes in North, Central and South Americas
The new routes add to the already existing TAP destinations in the Americas, distributed in the following way:
- North America’s TAP destinations: Miami and New York
- South America’s TAP destinations: Brazil – Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Salvador de Bahia, Fortaleza, Recife, Natal, Brasilia, Belo Horizonte, Porto Alegre, Campinas, Manaus and Belem (Manaus and Belem to start in June 2014) and Venezuela – Caracas
As a member of the Star Alliance, TAP partners with some of the largest airlines in South America, amongst them COPA and Avianca, having potential for extending its network of routes on this continent even more further in the future.
British travellers can also benefit from new services at Lisbon Airport, which is well connected to several cities in the United Kingdom.
UK routes to Lisbon are available from British Airways, as well as from low-cost carriers Easyjet and Ryanair.
